Bonjour! Je m'appelle Raine and Sage. Long time no see! I apologise for my unexplained hiatus between blog posts, and thankyou to those who sent emails checking on my whereabouts in my absence; it really was lovely to hear from you. It turns out I missed Raine & Sage, and I look forward to catching up with everyone soon.
To bring you quickly up to speed, we have sold our former house in Brisbane, and have been living in tropical Darwin for the past two and a half months. It has been a busy time with packing and moving interstate, finding a new home, my son starting a new school etc. but I'm pleased to say everything seems to have finally fallen into place, and I have finally started to feel settled. We have found a lovely new home only a five minute walk from the beach and the beautiful sunsets Darwin is renowned for; and for those of you that know my louvre love, you will be pleased to hear I'm happily ensconced within a louvre lovers' paradise, with a total of 444 louvres. Yes 444 of all types of louvres! I plan on sharing some louvre love soon, but today thought I'd just touch base to say hello, hello, this is Romeo.
Raine and Sage will be having a slight change in direction, as having completed two full-scale renovations in the past four years, I don't plan on doing even a skerrick of renovating in the foreseeable future. I do however have my Bower bird furniture collecting tendencies well intact, and have already managed to accumulate a number of items in only a short time. Compared to Brisbane the pickings are slim, but you do find the odd groovy item around the traps if you have a keen eye and look regularly. I've even had two wonderful roadside finds, which I was delighted with.
So here I am now -
I had planned on putting up more photos, but it seems to be taking an eternity, so will leave it at that for today. Au Revoir!

| This is our pool. I love the tropical foliage, which amongst other things is producing bananas and paw paws prolifically. |
| We gravitate between the veranda and pool every morning or late afternoon - never in the middle of the day or we'd fry.
